Tharam Store Guard ("Store Guard", "we") tests the public storefronts of online stores and alerts store owners when something breaks. This policy explains what we collect and why.
What we collect
- Account details: your email, name and a securely hashed password.
- Store details: store addresses you add, alert settings (email, Slack webhook) and, if you choose, your storefront password, used only to unlock your store for testing.
- Test results: pass/fail results, performance measurements and screenshots of public store pages.
- Free check requests: the store address and your IP address, used to prevent abuse and rate-limit free checks.
What we don't collect
We never enter payment details, place orders, or access your Shopify admin. Tests stop at checkout before any payment step. We do not collect data about your customers.
How we use it
To run tests, send the alerts you ask for, improve detection, and contact you about your account. We don't sell personal data or use it for advertising.
Where it's stored
On servers we operate. Screenshots of free checks are deleted after 30 days. You can delete a store and its history from your dashboard at any time, or email us to delete your account.
Service providers
We use an email delivery provider to send alerts. If you add a Slack webhook, alerts are sent to Slack.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, export or delete your data by emailing hello@tharam.store. We respond within 30 days.
