About the Store Guard test browser

If you saw TharamStoreGuard in your logs or analytics, that was our automated test browser checking a store on behalf of its owner, or running a free check someone requested.

What it does

• Browses a few pages: homepage, a collection, search and a product
• Adds one item to a cart, opens checkout and stops before payment
• Empties the cart afterwards
• Checks a limited number of links, gently

It never places orders, enters payment details or attempts to access anything that isn't public.

Filtering it from analytics

Every request includes TharamStoreGuard in the browser user agent, so you can exclude it in your analytics tool.

Want us to stop?

Email hello@tharam.store with your domain and we'll block it from free checks within one business day.
